Website access / server log files

When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically collects technical data (e.g. IP address, date and time, browser type, operating system, referrer URL). These data are used solely to deliver, secure and stabilise the website. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). Log files are deleted after a short period.

Tournament registration

When you register, we process the data you provide (name, team name, email address, optional room reservation requests). We use these data exclusively to handle your registration, to organise the tournament and to communicate with you about the event. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract or pre-contractual measures). The data are stored for as long as necessary for running the tournament and to fulfil statutory retention obligations.

Payment processing (Stripe)

Tournament fees are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, Ireland. The data required for payment (e.g. name, email, payment details) are transmitted directly to Stripe and processed there. We ourselves do not store payment data such as card numbers. Email communication

We send emails to the address you provide in order to confirm your registration and share organisational information about the tournament. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. You can object to receiving non-essential emails at any time by writing to vinc.klose@gmail.com.

Hosting

This website is hosted by an external provider (Cloudflare / the Lovable platform). This involves processing of technical data required to deliver the site. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cookies and local storage

We only use technically necessary cookies or local storage (e.g. to remember your language choice and to handle the registration flow). We do not perform any tracking or analytics for advertising purposes.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). Please send your request informally to vinc.klose@gmail.com.
